Howard is the creative force behind trifle design and established the company in 2006. Before that he produced and sold a variety of coffee tables and funky modern furniture for homes. His love for this began after he studied Product Design at Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design, London. He has produced many bespoke items such as wine racks, modular storage, shelving and speakers amongst others, and strives for high quality fun but functional furniture. He also worked for 5 years in designing household electrical appliances such as kettles and toasters, barbecues and deep fat fryers. You may have one in your kitchen!

Howard had the idea to produce a coffee table that looked like a football stadium, as these can often be architecturally beautiful. The use of the mirrored pitch is to draw light into the game. At the same time this introduces a focal point into your living space. It’s a perfect table to have. You can entertain your friends, or its great fun to play with when you get in from the pub! Wouldn’t it be great to have a football coffee table as a stylish piece of furniture! A real show piece, plus solving the usual storage problem!
